Welcome to Puttsburgh!

The wife and I were browsing the political section of MSNBC.com, and we found a calendar of current political events. Ever astute, the little lady quickly identified a Freudian slip that made clear the opinions of the MSNBC political editors regarding our fair town.

It's a rare pleasure for Pennsylvanians to be the focus of major presidential candidates prior to the primary elections. Today, our fine city welcomed Senator Hillary Clinton. The Burgh of Putts is honored you came.

I'll be sure to check back at MSNBC.com for the rest of her cross-state tour. What's next on the docket? Filthadelphia? Queerie? Errisburg?

That's hilarious! And insulting. But mostly hilarious!

Oh, and I think you might find my post today of particular interest to you. ;o)

Ok, this might be sort of interesting. I stumbled here by way of Avery Gray moresp because your name, reversed looked familiar. And now I see that you live in Pittsburgh. So I'm wondering, do you or did you have a band called Chai Baba?

I'm visiting because Avery told me to, not that I can't think for myself, but I trust Avery's judgement. :-)

That's funny! I live on the other side of the country, but I think Puttsburgh would be a fitting name for my town too.

(and while my nom de blog does contain a clue to my (nick) nom de real life, i unfortunately am not cool enough to be associated with the likes of chai baba)
